Acording to "mexico.pueblosamerica.com", there is a location called "Tortugas" in Municipio de San Jose de Gracia, Aguascalientes. See the link below:

It says "María Guadalupe española que nacio en el puesto de las tortugas"

Puesto, labor, and ranchito are somewhat interchangeable words.
